APSRTC employees called off strike

Amaravathi: APSRTC employees called off a strike after state government has agreed to pay 25% fitment to them. Speaking to the media, Minister Atchannaidu said that they have agreed to give fitment despite RTC running into losses keeping employees welfare in mind. He attributed the loss to RTC due to hike in the price of diesel and appreciated the employees for improving occupancy ratio from 62% to 80 per cent. The Minister mentioned that fitment will be increased to RTC employees on par with government employees in the future.
