Man stabs two for killing his goat. The incident took place in Uttar Pradesh, where the trial court found the accused guilty and sentenced him to death. An angry man whose goat got killed went on a rampage with his acquaintances until he was dragged into a confrontation and committed two murders. The court sentenced the accused to death for committing these murders.
The accused is Aklu Chauhan of Bhikharipur in Uttar Pradesh. A goat of Aklu Chauhan wandered off into Ram Sanehi's land and destroyed the crop. Ram Sanehi got raged and hit the goat. The goat died from the blows. This incident happened in 2007.
Aklu Chauhan after knowing this went angrily to confront Ram with his relatives. The commotion got bigger and 2 deaths took place. The incident became a sensation in the area at that time.
The police registered a case on the incident. The case has been under investigation for 12 years since 2007 and the court has pronounced the sentence today. Seven people who witnessed the incident testified in court and the District Sessions Court sentenced the accused to life imprisonment.
