Despite the corona chase, the craze for foreigners to travel abroad has not diminished. The reason for this can be seen in the facts revealed by our passport office. Restrictions on international flights continue as the corona epidemic grips the world. Especially since our country is still not running full services.
However, the corona is not a barrier to obtaining a passport! In 2021, a large number of passports were issued by the Hyderabad Passport Office. The Hyderabad Regional Passport Office has issued passports to 2.93 lakh people in the first year of Corona 2020. In 2021, 4.42 lakh people will get passports. However, the Corona issued a little less last year than the 5.54 lakh issued in 2019, the year before its arrival.
The figures were released by Hyderabad Regional Passport Officer Dasari Balayya. It said it was issuing 100 per cent of the slots online for appointments. The services will be available at four Passport Service Centers, 14 Post Office Passport Service Centers and one Passport Short Service Center. He said 200 additional appointment slots were released daily in December to reduce the waiting time for appointments.
