No mandatory enrollment of graduates at employment exchange: Govt

New Delhi, Feb 4 (IANS) The Centre does not have any proposal for mandatory enrollment of graduates at employment exchanges across the country, the Parliament was told on Thursday.

Registration at employment exchanges across the country for availing employment-related services is voluntary, Minister of State for Labour and Employment Rameswar Teli told the Rajya Sabha in a written reply.

The Ministry is implementing National Career Service Project to provide a variety of career-related services viz. job search and matching, career counselling, vocational guidance, information on skill development courses, etc and these services are available online on the National Career Service Portal, he said.
