Sanya Malhotra exudes grace as she visits Lalbaugcha Raja

Mumbai, Sep 25 (IANS) Actress Sanya Malhotra, who has won hearts of the audiences with her performance in Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘Jawan’, on Monday visited Lalbaugcha Raja, to seek the blessings of Ganpati Bappa on the occasion of Ganeshotsav.


The country is celebrating ‘Ganeshotsav’ from September 19. ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya’ is heard across the country, and people are dancing their hearts to the tunes of dhol and drums.


The video from the pandal shows Sanya walking with her team to seek the blessings of the God. She is wearing a mustard yellow coloured salwar suit and a matching dupatta. She kept her curly hair untied, and opted for minimal makeup. She accessorised the look with silver earrings and wore juttis.


Sanya posed with the idol of Lord Ganesh and smiled for the camera.


‘Jawan’ stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, Priyamani and Sanya. It was theatrically released on September 7.


Directed by Atlee, 'Jawan' features SRK in a dual role: Captain Vikram Rathore, an ex-commando; and Azad, the jailer of a woman's prison.


Earlier, during a Q&A session with her fans, Sanya spoke about her experience working in ‘Jawan’. She had said: “it was fantastic, and definitely a dream come true for me. I still can't believe.”


On working with SRK, the 'Ludo' actress said: "amazing. I hope and I pray I get to work with him again, because I got to learn so much from him. just being around him was such a surreal experience for me as an actor. I still can't believe I am a part of Jawan."


Talking about Atlee, Sanya had shared: "I am so grateful to have worked with Atlee sir. He helped me get out of my comfort zone. It takes time for an actor to step out of their bubble or maybe try something new, but he really pushed me to find Eeram, to live Eeram, to be Eeram, I hope to get working with him again."


Meanwhile, Sanya next has ‘Sam Bahadur’ and an untitled project which is a remake of ‘The Great Indian Kitchen’.
