Netflix has announced a new offer to attract customers as competition on OTT platforms continues to grow. Five mobile games are being offered for free to subscribers. Currently, this feature is only available for Android users. Games for Apple Inc.’s iPhone are also planned. The company stated in a blog post.
All Android users with a Netflix subscription can download and play these games. There will be no extra charge. There are no ads. After logging into Netflix a special tab for games appears. You can select your favorite game and play it after downloading.
The initial offering includes titles linked to Netflix shows, such as Stranger Things: 1984 and Stranger Things 3: The Game. Also including Shooting Hoops, Card Blast and Teeter Up.
Netflix says the games are available in many languages. The game language is also loaded automatically depending on the option set by the user in the profile. For users who do not have a language set, games will come in English by default. Netflix explains that these games are not available for Kids profiles.
