India assured to IoT industry: IT Secretary

New Delhi, May 17: Senior officials here said Wednesday that India should understand the technology and do not have anything less than the leadership role when Things (Iot) came to adopt ecosystems to improve efficiency in the sectors. Aruna Sundararajan, Information Technology Secretary, initiated the second edition of the 'IOTI India Congress 2017', said the IITs industry with two major industries - Information Technology (IT) and Telecom. Place. Sundarajan told reporters, "I am hopeful that India can walk in this direction with the capabilities and the young population of the communities that started in both the entrepreneurs and the two in various sectors of India.

Conceptualised, designed and organised by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) India, the IoT India Congress is country's largest platform for accelerating business outcomes in IoT. The global IoT market is set to exceed $300 billion by 2020 and with almost 1.9 billion devices to be connected to the internet in India by 2023, Indian IoT market is forcast to secure 20 per cent of the global IoT business ecosystem to reach nearly $15 billion in next three years. Dr Rishi Bhatnagar, Chairman IET-IoT Panel and Organising Committee, IoT India Congress 2017, mentioned a Gartner report, informing that 8.4 million devices will be connected in 2017 -- 31 per cent more than last year. 

Bhatnagar, one of the panel discussions, said, "It is a pivotal momentum for the development of IOT equipment and the need for technology to be made technically fit for this wave for industries." IET India IOT India Director IET India IET India and Head of Country Shekhar Sanyal said IOT India will be able to increase its partnerships with IOT value shareholders in the chain. "As the leadership of the volunteers, IITI's IATTI panel influences the future of iota, which changes the way we deal with and trade," added Sanyal.
