A woman named Sharanya was married to Sakthivel from Poosaripatti village in Kadavur of Karur district in TamilNadu. It was an arranged marriage and they had two daughters Kanishka(6) and Puvisha(3). A recent change in wife's behaviour has caused a stir in that green world. Their life of mutual struggle took an unexpected turn. The mother along with the children jumped into the well and committed suicide.
Sakthivel is a textile worker who helps the family. Their lives were going smoothly until the wife Sharanya was suffering from mental problems and often got into fights with her husband. Sharanya wanted to leave the house and live alone. The couple quarrelled every other night on this.
Following this Sharanya made a hasty decision. One night when her husband was asleep she went out carrying one of the two children and threw the baby into a 100-foot-deep well. She came back home, took another daughter, threw her and jumped into the same well. The husband woke up only to be surprised with the absence of wife and his daughters.
He searched the surroundings with the help of others and couldn't find them. Finally when they found them in the well Sakthivel was in great shock. Police have registered a case on the incident and are investigating all angles.
