A video showing some of the students at Davangere High School behaving rudely and attacking a teacher during class. Netizens have demanded that strict action be taken against students over the incident, which went viral on social media.
The video that is going viral is of Nallur High School in Channagiri of Davanagere district. The video shows students behaving rudely with a Hindi teacher when he enters the classroom. One of the students tried to attack him with a dustbin. Later, when he started teaching in the classroom, they put the Dustbin on the teacher's head.
Meanwhile, Karnataka's Primary and Secondary Education Minister BC Nagesh has directed an inquiry into the incident and took stern action. Speaking on Twitter, the minister said, "Students attacked a teacher at a school. This incident cannot be tolerated. The education department and the police are investigating. The Minister directed to take appropriate action. We are always with the teachers.” He assured.
