Many students are ruining their precious lives due to various reasons like financial circumstances, fear of getting a job, stress. The recent suicide of a student has become a sensation. A 19-year-old student of the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NIT-K) committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan in his hostel room.
Upon learning of the matter, the police rushed to the spot and examined it. According to city police commissioner Sasikumar, the deceased was a B.Tech second year student from Orai village in Bihar. A suicide note was seized at the scene of the suicide. He said in the suicide note that he could not find a job due to financial circumstances and could not even pay his family loans for education.
However, the family members asked the police to conduct the funeral as their financial situation was not good and they could not go to the institute. However, the commissioner said that the staff and students of the institute were making efforts to take the body to Patna for burial. The deceased was said to have faced many difficulties while studying in the tenth class. The incident came to light when his friends came to the hostel room to wake him up for breakfast
