సంచలనాత్మక దర్శకుడు రాంగోపాల్ వర్మ ట్విట్టర్ వేదికగా ఓ పోస్ట్ చేశారు. "న్యాయవాది ఎ పి సింగ్ వంటి రాక్షసుడు కోర్టులతో కొన్నేళ్లుగా ఫుట్బాల్ ఆడగల దేశంలో, "దిశా" కు ఇచ్చిన తక్షణ న్యాయాన్ని ప్రజలు ఎల్లప్పుడూ గుర్తుచేసుకుంటారు అనే వాస్తవాన్ని “దిషా” చిత్రం చూపిస్తుంది." అని ట్విట్ చేశారు.
